Description
Your chauffeur and guide accompany you on a discovery of "Les paradis" ("Paradises" or the secret cognac collections).
In the afternoon you discover the Grande Champagne vineyards, the premier cru of cognac. Here you meet producers of the old vintage cognacs from distinguished family properties.
These family properties have been passed from generation to generation with the secrets of producing great cognac and a selection of the best blends and vintages kept locked in "Les paradis".
Each property looks after the whole process from nurturing the vines, selecting the grapes, fermenting and distilling, to the final selection and blend for the bottles.
Details
Transport with English speaking driver and guide
Pick up at the hotel around 2.00 pm
Visit of 2 properties which develop older vintage cognacs of a « Single Estate », including some of more than 40 years old.
Tasting of three cognacs aged at least 25 years.
Tour in the vineyard with discussion on the terroir, local history, the Romanesque churches…
Transfer back to hotel around 6 pm
