The Island of Oléron is a destination of holidays since the development of sea bathing and seaside resorts during the 19th century. This charming place offers also forests of pine and vineyard landscapes.

The bridge which connects the island of Oléron to the continent since 1966 makes the access much easier than before. Consider at least a day to discover Oléron. the island is a nice destination all year long, meaning also off-season. The climate of the coast is influenced by the Gulf Stream. It is of a great softness on the island as testified by mimosas flowering at the end of the winter.
